Bernard Gasee
Bernie, a lawyer, is the head of our collection department, with 30 years of experience. He is also a member of the Civil Litigation section of the Canadian Bar Association and is recognized as a Civil Litigation Specialist by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Bernie has written and lectured professionally on collection and litigation matters and is recognized by his peers for his expertise and specialist qualifications. Bernie has a trained staff of lawyers and law clerks and legal assistants.

Kevin S. Klayman
Kevin received his undergraduate degree, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory, from the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario. He then attended law school at Queens University, in Kingston Ontario, and graduated in 1993. ÊHe was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1995.
Kevin has focused his practice in the area of civil litigation, with a heavy emphasis on creditor/debtor commercial litigation. His practice has also included personal injury, bankruptcy, estate and employment litigation.
Kevin is also active in the credit granting and recovery community. He sits on the board of directors of the Credit Association of Greater Toronto and is head of the legislative committee of the Credit Institute. ÊOutside of law, Kevin is a founding member, and current president of Summer Dreams, a registered charity which sends underprivileged children to summer camps across Ontario. |

Mark R. Youngman
Mark attended the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario where he received a bachelor degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies. After leaving Western, Mark attended the University of New Brunswick Law School where he received Bachelor of Law degree. Mark is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and was called to the bar in 1993.
Mark practices in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on debtor/creditor and bankruptcy/insolvency litigation. Mark also acts for purchasers, vendors and mortgagees for residential real estate transactions.
Mark is a member of the Canadian Bar Association. He is also a member of NARCA (National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, an international organization for collection lawyers. |

John is an associate of the firm on the Litigation team. John’s commercial litigation experience includes construction liens/litigation, advising and/or acting in respect of mortgage remedies, debt enforcement, lease remedies, contractual and corporate disputes, leasing, insolvency, and a full range of general litigation matters.
John is also a musician/songwriter and composer and has recorded various musical arrangements for film, theatrical events and original releases.
